Simplicity of Legend High School 3-3 Defense
- Alignment–Simple rules that apply to every formation. Players go through rules 1-does it apply?, 2–does it apply?, 3–does it apply?
- Assignments–Simple rules that apply to every formation.
- Calls–Three calls cover the whole defense.
- Fist Call–Front
- Second Call-Stunt and Blitz
- Third Call–Coverage (0,1,2,3,4)
- Checks–Made against certain formations/plays. Keep them simple and clear.
- Flexibility –Adjust to any formation without changing personnel

- One of the linebackers is blitzing
- All of the blitzes can have a Twist call opposite the blitz
