Coach Curtis shares why he runs the midline and one primary reason is ball control which he explains in complete detail. Coach likes the ability to attack the “A” gap fast and how midline gives potentially the ball to your two fastest athletes in his offense. Coach shares all the different motions that he likes to use which gives the midline play many different looks. Coach shares with the use of power point the midline option rules for his offensive line that will assist any coach implementing midline. Also shared are the midline option rules for his backs and receivers as well. Coach shares his illustrates that demonstrates the implementation that gives an excellent visuals for implementing midline. Coach Curtis provides actual game pictures of his formations which he uses to demonstrate blocking schemes and reads which he then proceeds showing how the plays work using actual game film. I have heard Coach Curtis speak several times. I have attended several of his option two-day clinics at Mishawaka High School. He is a true expert on running the flexbone and option football. He always is available to answer questions on the offense and treats everyone like a close friend.
