Turning Your Opponents Against Themselves – The Triple Screen 2 – Run Plays
Coach Buchanan begins this presentation by explaining his unbalanced formation approach for his running game. Coach uses his white board to diagram his unbalanced sets and how defenses will normally align against his formation set and how he will attack these schemes with his running game. Coach shares his backfield sets and how he runs his power plays and his off tackle 4 & 5 hole plays. Coach does an excellent job explaining his unbalanced plays and how he blocks the plays mentioned. Coach shares his approach using the option game to determine who has the pitch when attacking “0” Coverage. Coach Buchanan also shares his sprint out game using illustrations and explanations to assist in understanding his approach.
