As a guy that is pretty new to the veer, I was a little confused on the Veer Shovel play, you were saying it was the same play as your other Veer series plays. I feel like it is a different play altogether, looks like you are really running the power read as the backside guard is pulling for the play side LB and you are still reading the End. But maybe that is just a way to trick your kids into not needing to install it as another play? Totally understand in that case. Also, I wondered how you tell your tackle to Arc. Is that an all-the-time Odd rule? On the first clip of that play, vs. an Even front, the tackle Arcs around the DE (which is in a 4i in this case), while in the second clip the DE is in the same technique and the tackle blocks him. So I guess the question is, are you reading the End Man on the LOS, or are you specifically reading the DE? That would be the same question for all of your Veer series I guess, not just the shovel play.
