Coach Fox shares his thoughts on how he transformed his defensive approach from defending Wing-T to defending spreads formations. Coach shares why the dime package using a 30 front and how the dime defense allows him to utilize a defensive package that is designed to defeat offenses in obvious passing situations. Coach shares the components of the dime defense by removing a defensive lineman and replacing him with a cover defender. Coach provides excellent illustrations vs 2 x2 receivers with cover two with a linebacker as a robber. Coach Fox provides multiple concepts with his coverage approach with explanation on each coverage defender.
