In this video, I take a look at what Arkansas did against Mississippi State by dropping 8 defenders into coverage. This used to be a very rarely used coverage…unless you were a 3-5-3 team trying to shut down someone’s 7on7 offense. Yea, dropping 8 was always the coverage we’d poke fun at. Turns out, the joke may be on us because it’s starting to look pretty legitimate in certain situations.
