Coach Smolyn starts his presentation explaining his approach on how we coaches learn and approach the game of football. Coach states as a coach you and your staff have a responsibility to be prepared and bring your “A” game every day just as we as coaches expect that from our athletes. Coach Shares his thoughts in always having a written practice schedule, have scripts and why, establish routines for practice and get real good at a couple of EDD’s. Research and develop more efficient methods to teach you material and only coach what you know how to fix. Coach Smolyn gives an outstanding defensive approach for implanting your defensive approach from start to finish and one great reason this presentation is excellent is because Coach explains the “Why’s” we do what we do for success.
