Practice expectations for tight ends (and coaches)
For the players to trust the coaches they must know that the coaches trust them.
1) Play fast–speed off the ball.
2) Practice and play with effort and juice. This is non-negotiable. You have to present information to players in a variety of ways. This applies to coaches as well as players.
3) Step frequency–activate the feet, change stride length.
4) Take care of the football
5) Secure the catch and finish for 2 lines.
