Quick game philosophy
- Get the ball out FAST
- Get the ball to Green Grass
- Give the OLine a new pitch in protection
- Two for one install (Quick Game + RPO Game)
- ID your best plays and run them in MULTIPLE WAYS + Have answers off them. Formations, Tempos, etc. Double Moves
Quick Game Fundamentals and Drill Work
- Toes at 5 yards Deep in the Gun
- 1 Step Team (we already have our depth for quick game protection)
Get points aligned (Throwing instep OR off shoulder/hip/ankle)
Right to Right = “Catch, Wheel, Throw with Back Foot (Right Foot)
Righty to Left – “Catch, Set, Throw” with Back Foot (Right Foot) - Drops in Individual Time only during camp/installation of plays.
Otherwise, we coach drops in Routes on Air and 1 on 1s
We use drill work to reinforce drops and create a sense of urgency with a game. All drills are made to improve fundamentals, not fill time.
