Coach Driskell begins his presentation by explaining his 3, 5, Sprint out, and Play Action protections and blocking rules and assignments. Coach begins first explaining 3 step protection using an aggressive run block protection in order the keep the hands and arms of the defensive front down and built around the concept of big on big. Coach Driskell shares the responsibilities for his offensive line by explaining that the center and guards are responsible for the depth of the pocket with tackles pushing the width of the pocket with 5 step protections. Coach explains with his protection that his offensive linemen must secure the inside rush making defenders rushing from an outside position. Coach uses excellent explanations for his protections using his offensive linemen on the field to demonstrate techniques and responsibilities.
