Coach begins his presentation giving an overview of St. Edwards High School and the success they’ve had over past few years in the passing game. Coach discusses his approach for coaching accuracy throwing into the receiver’s window based upon the particular route, decision making and the ball being thrown in time to the correct receiver, mobility and pocket agility and staying alive, arm strength being able to throw a 14-yard comeback and sideline to hash, and leadership being able to instill confidence and being able to encourage. Coach shares his drills that he uses for coaching the quarterback with complete explanation for each drill and how to throw individual routes. Coach shares key coaching points for reading corners and over aggressive safeties and linebacker match-ups. This presentation also shares actual game film with Coach talking you through his quarterback reads and techniques.
