One of the first reasons shared by Coach Parker is to get his good athletes the ball out in space which also shares the defense down. Coach shares his thoughts on when to run Screens based upon down and distance and when you might need a big play. Coach shares his approach using the 5 different screens that he has in his offense, the names he gives his screens are 1. Now Screen, 2. Swing Screen, 3. Stack Screen, 4. Bubble Screen, and Slip Screen. Coach uses actual game film to explain the reasons why and how he teaches the 5 screens mentioned. Besides actual game film coach shares his illustrations for each scheme which also adds to the understanding for installing the screen game into any coaches’ offense.
