Strength & Conditioning – In-Season Conditioning

Coach Jacobi discusses his conditioning program for both travel and non-travel players. Coach discusses his running program which serves as the main form of conditioning for his players followed by developing a solid anaerobic conditioning by using work-rest ratios that allow for full recovery. Coach shares that because of the type of offense that his program runs that most condition takes place during practice. Coach shares that normally the amount of conditioning for none travel players will be determined during practice only. Coach Jacobi shares his weekly conditioning schedule which features reps and the different lifting exercises that they use during the in-season. This presentation is an excellent example for installing both a conditioning and lifting in-season presentation.
