There are 3 types of non event fundraisers: Straight donation request, product sale/catalog, or a combination of the two (hybrid fundraiser).
Pros of a donation fundraiser:
- Easy and straightforward to set up.
- An online donation fundraiser allows athletes to reach out beyond the local community.
Cons of a donation fundraiser:
- People who donate may want something in return.
- There is potential donor burnout if an individual is asked multiple times.

(Note: Product sale fundraisers should be completly online)
Pros of a product sale fundraiser
- All payments are handled by software.
- You can offer a range of products to potential supporters.
- Supporters receive something tangible in return for their money

- Dealing with delivery of the products you sold can be a hassle.
Pros of a hybrid fundraiser
- Combines simplicity of donations with the appeal of product sales
